The program brings together police personnel and children from our local elementary schools for a a fun time  of Christmas shopping.  The funds the children use for Christmas shopping are raised through generous donations from local residents and businesses and used to give these kids a special Christmas they might otherwise not have. After the shopping spree, the kids and their police escorts get together for lunch, which is provided by the local Elk’s Lodge.  The police officer and child then return back to school, with a bag full of Christmas cheer!
